A proposed single storey dwelling that has been sensitively designed to have minimal impact on adjacent properties, whilst making a positive contribution to the conservation area. A large picture window is incorporated into the living space to capture views of the church tower over the roof of the outbuilding, further strengthening the connection between the proposal and the conservation area. The main living spaces connect to and from the external spaces, enjoying a south-facing private garden aspect, with the entrance, second bedroom, and amenity functions local to the access drive.
